Commissioner Malec is a communications consultant who specializes in content strategy, brand development and search engine optimization for digital publications and small businesses. He is also a country music journalist whose work has appeared in American Songwriter and other online and print outlets. 

A graduate of the University of South Florida with degrees in creative writing and international studies, Commissioner Malec previously worked on political campaigns and spent three years coaching baseball in Austria and the Czech Republic. He lives in West End with his wife Nicole Malec, who is the Deputy Chief of Staff for a member of the United States House of Representatives.
