Dasia Bandy is an undergraduate junior at George Washington University studying international affairs and journalism. Dasia is a two time national awardee for her advocacy work in youth enrichment programs and military and veteran services (7 years of experience in advocacy). She was a former U.S. Youth Representative for Unilever’s Dove Self-Esteem Project and former Youth Representative for Navy Child and Youth Programs. She believes education is the most powerful weapon to use to change the world.

Dasia is also a dedicated community builder (with thousands of hours of dedicated volunteer work) with a passion for journalism as a freelance writer for parents magazine. Her exceptional volunteerism, community involvement, leadership , and scholarship led her to be a 2022 Summer Analyst for the Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets. Dasia educates youth on financial literacy through volunteer service. She is determined to make a difference.
