Community Conducts First Weekly Foggy Bottom Litter Walk

On Saturday morning at 10 am, five people from the Foggy Bottom West End Village and the Foggy Bottom Association met on the corner of 25th & I Street to conduct the first weekly 30-minute Litter Walk. Jinkx, the neighborhood black cat joined us for part of the way.

In just 30 minutes, ten grocery bags of litter were removed from our neighborhood sidewalks, tree boxes, and gutters. On our walk, we talked to neighbors, petted a couple of dogs, and learned a little more about each other.

The participants were Trevor and Deborah Neve, Patrick Cody, and Ken and Jackie Durham. We all agreed to meet again next Saturday at 10 am at 25th & I Street in front of the fire box.

Please join us.
